Sulfur is known as a healing mineral, a deficiency often can lead to
pain and inflammation associated with various muscles. It plays a role
in a number of biological processes. Most people don’t realize that
sulfur is present in insulin – which helps promote the utilization of
sugar.<br />
<i>If you want to reduce inflammation or balance your blood sugar – consider the need for sulfur.</i><br />
Sulfur compounds are found in a variety of foods, such as, onions and
garlic – which appear to have anticancer properties. According to
articles that appeared in “Nutrition Science News,” by naturopathic
doctor Jill E. Stansbury – sulfur compounds inhibit tumor metabolism and
enhance immune response while helping the liver to flush out
carcinogens.<br />
<br />
<b>How to use nutrition to prevent cancer</b><br />
Bromelain, a sulfur-rich enzyme in pineapple, has anticancer
properties (in animal studies) and is being explored for use as an
anti-carcinogenic agent for humans.<br />
The two sulfur-containing amino acids, cysteine and methionine,
(mentioned earlier) help control the absorption of heavy metals, such as
lead. According to dermatologist Doris J. Day author of “Forget the
Facelift” says, cysteine is a key constituent of glutathione and
glutathione is the primary water-soluble antioxidant operating within
our cells – essential for detoxification.<br />
An article published in “Planta Medica,” found that hydrogen sulfide,
a by-product of dietary sulfur compounds, offers cardiovascular
protective properties. These compounds naturally occur in onions,
garlic, beans and fruit. The authors state that research has
established a strong link between high levels of hydrogen sulfide and
cardiovascular health.<br />
<br />
<b>Don’t listen to the “lame-stream” media – organic food IS important!</b><br />
With the introduction of the petro-chemical fertilizers, the soil has
been robbed of its sulfur content. This versatile mineral makes a
difference at every stage of life, and a deficiency can lead to many
serious health conditions.<br />
Sulfur is an endangered element; soft water depletes our supply of
this element, and higher concentrations of chlorine and fluorine when
added to our water supply block the uptake of both oxygen and sulfur.
Sulfur is used to repair damaged cells and promote the growth of healthy
new cells by allowing the cells to transport oxygen effectively.<br />
The best (natural) sources of sulfur are from: grass-fed beef;
pasture-raised eggs; raw cheese; organic beans, nuts, seeds, fruits and
vegetables. Keep in mind, locally-grown (organic) fruits and vegetables
– created in mineral rich soils – are always best to consume on a daily
basis.<br />
<br />
<b>Greater knowledge and personal experience is the best way to prevent disease</b><br />
We are just beginning to appreciate the complexity of sulfur; it has
the ability to combat just about every health problem. Simply put,
sulfur will help you destroy abnormal (unhealthy) cells, while
protecting the body against environmental toxins.<br />
As always, nature provides the formula to enhance our well-being –
all we need to do is live by its laws and enjoy life – as it’s meant to
be.<br />

<strong>OXYGEN to your cells</strong>.<br />
<br />
Organic
Sulfur and a good diet will do just that and much more. It does not
happen over night and is a biological process but I have personally
witnessed it and heard many testimonies. For myself I have NOT taken any
drugs nor been sick in over 7 years. A good diet, Organic Sulfur,
exercise, sunlight, and lots of good pure water is my medicine for a
healthy life.<br />

And this is a request to help<br />
find Study members with HIV, Hep C, or another viral infections. "Paradigm <br />
shift" is forgetting that Hep C and HIV are viruses, biological entities which if<br />
they had knowledge it would be humor at the efforts of the drug companies to<br />
kill that which is not "alive." <br />
<br />
Viruses whether HIV or Hep C do not seek out cells with adequate intracellular <br />
oxygen. We are studying Organic Sulfur which enables oxygen to be transported <br />
across the cell membrane and in doing so allowing that same membrane to<br />
become pliable and resilient so that the viral entities can not tear into these cells.<br />
Punching your way out of a paper bag is a similar analogy.<br />
We have been hard pressed to enlist HIV or Hep C members but those who <br />
have joined the study have experienced reduced viral loads. Our one success<br />
case study died from an overdose of drugs, his liver had completely regenerated <br />
in 15 months.<br />
What we are suggesting is simple cellular biology, no promises or hype from<br />
the pharmaceutical industry which has no real desire to "cure" Hep C or HIV but <br />
only to profit from the treatment. We believe, fools that we must be, that a virus<br />
is a virus no matter what name we give them and it must behave the way that all<br />
viruses have since we learned of their existence.<br />
Do a little search on viruses and oxygen, do a little search on how viruses replicate.<br />
They do so by tearing into a leathery, stiff cell membrane which is due to anaerobic <br />
cellular metabolism not unlike cancer and they use the DNA in that cell to replicate <br />
more viruses to continue what should have been just a standard garbage pickup of <br />
weak and diseased cells.<br />
The crystals of Organic Sulfur are taken by the tablespoon for Hep C twice a day<br />
12 to 15 grams twice a day, more has not demonstrated any adverse effects. For <br />
HIV we believe 50 grams or 4 1/2 tablespoons of sulfur are necessary being that<br />
the HIV virus is fond of sulfur based amino acids. Organic Sulfur has an bitter <br />
taste initially but as one of our 92 year old Study members states, "Get over it."<br />
Yearly cost for 200 lb Hep C study member is $200.00<br />
Yearly cost for 150 lb HIV Study member would be $850.00 for the first 18 months<br />
and if the viral load has decreased a similar amount that Hep C members could<br />
suffice, that is theory for HIV but we believe that would be the case based on what<br />
we know about intracellular oxygen and the response to most viruses.<br />
We believe that most all US citizens are sulfur deficient thanks to the use of <br />
chemical fertilizers and the over processing of our foods. HIV has been around<br />
since 1860 but not until we had used chemical fertilizers did it first appear in the<br />
West Nile Region of Africa along with Ebola and West Nile Virus. <br />
The rise in Hep C especially among Vets did so after the use of these same <br />
chemical fertilizers was mandated in 1954.<br />
As Director of the Live Blood and Cellular Matrix Study we believe that both HIV <br />
and HEP C viruses can be addressed with oral ingestion of Organic Sulfur. Viruses <br />
avoid cells with intracellular oxygen and that is a fact of biology.<br />
http://fourwinds10.com/NewsServer/ArticleFunctions/ArticleDetails.php?ArticleID=14542 <br />
is our preliminary Study report to give you a better idea of what we are about. No harm <br />
to any of the current 1400 + Study members from late teens to 90+ and all to person has <br />
benefitted in some manner from the sulfur.<br />
No one has ever demonstrated the ability to kill a virus not even with an atomic bomb<br />
in 1960 so when the drug companies think that they can do so with antiviral drugs possibly<br />
they should remember that viruses are not alive, have no DNA. If forcing these "garbage<br />
men" into dormancy is the best we can do, then I say lets do it, and the availability of <br />
intracellular oxygen may be the answer.<br />
Our Study is funded by the Sulfur we supply so if someone is interested it is on their <br />
nickel, when supplied for "free" it is not taken or considered of value, we have been <br />
doing this study since 1999 when my son was diagnosed with cancer and given a <br />
death sentence for 2003, he is very much alive in 2007 and we believe that sulfur is<br />
the reason. <br />
No harm! No reason to stop any other therapy. Sulfur is the forth most abundant<br />
of the trace minerals and we do not get any in our foods. As our report states all <br />
disease rates in the US are now 4000% higher than they were in 1950 and that in-<br />
cludes HIV and Hep C. Could it be the cell membrane? Could it be the lack of <br />
intracellular oxygen? There is no harm to find out and if we are correct those Vets<br />
with viral counts in the 30 millions could be down to under 5 million is less than <br />
18 months.<br />
You can continue to by hyped by the drug companies or look at an alternative <br />
which just may be a solution, not a cure because no one has ever killed a virus<br />
but if ones liver is allowed to regenerate and all of the viral attacks of HIV could<br />
to halted then life could continue without the fear. And fear is the ally of the <br />
drug companies we ally ourselves with simple cellular biology and healthy cellular <br />
regeneration.<br />

<br /> A Possible Contributing Factor in Obesity, Heart Disease, Alzheimer’s and Chronic Fatigue<br />
Obesity is quickly becoming the number one health issue confronting
America today, and has also risen to epidemic proportions worldwide. Its
spread is associated with the adoption of a Western-style diet.
However, I believe that the widespread consumption of food imports
produced by U.S. companies plays a crucial role in the rise in obesity
worldwide. Specifically, these “fast foods” typically include heavily
processed derivatives of corn, soybeans and grains, grown on highly
efficient mega-farms. Furthermore, I will argue in this essay that one
of the core underlying causes of obesity may be sulfur deficiency.
Sulfur is the eighth most common element by mass in the human body,
behind oxygen, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus and
potassium. The two sulfur-containing amino acids, methionine and
cysteine, play essential physiological roles throughout the body.
However, sulfur has been consistently overlooked by those addressing the
issues of nutritional deficiencies. In fact, the National Academy of
Sciences has not even assigned a minimum daily requirement (MDR) for
sulfur. One consequence of sulfur’s limbo nutritional status is that it
is omitted from the long list of supplements that are commonly
artificially added to popular foods like cereal.<br />
<br />
<strong> UNAPPRECIATED DEFICIENCIES</strong><br />
Sulfur is found in a large number of foods, and, as a consequence, it
is assumed that almost any diet would meet the minimum daily
requirements. Excellent sources are eggs, onions, garlic, and leafy dark
green vegetables like kale and broccoli. Meats, nuts, and seafood also
contain sulfur. Methionine, an essential amino acid, is found mainly in
egg whites and fish. A diet high in grains like bread and cereal is
likely to be deficient in sulfur. Increasingly, whole foods such as corn
and soybeans are disassembled into component parts with chemical names,
and then reassembled into heavily processed foods. Sulfur is lost along
the way, and so is the awareness that this loss matters.<br /> Experts
have recently become aware that sulfur depletion in the soil creates a
serious deficiency for plants,17 brought about in part by improved
efficiency in the U.S. agricultural industry, which has steadily
consolidated into highly technologized mega-farms.<br /> It is estimated
that humans obtain about ten percent of their sulfur supply from
drinking water. Remarkably, people who drink soft water have an
increased risk of heart disease compared to people who drink hard
water.2 Many possible reasons have been suggested for why this might be
true, and just about every trace metal has been considered as a
possibility.3 However, I believe that the real reason may simply be that
hard water is more likely to contain sulfur.<br />
<br /> <strong>SULFUR AND OBESITY RATES</strong><br />
The ultimate source of sulfur is volcanic rock, mainly basalt, spewed
up from the earth’s core during volcanic eruptions. It is generally
believed that humans first evolved in the African rift zone, a region
that would have enjoyed an abundance of sulfur due to the heavy volcanic
activity there.<br /> The three principal suppliers of sulfur to the
Western nations are Greece, Italy and Japan. These three countries also
enjoy low rates of heart disease and obesity and increased longevity. In
the United States, Oregon and Hawaii, two states with significant
volcanic activity, have among the lowest obesity rates in the country.
By contrast, the highest obesity rates are found in the midwest and in
southern farm country: the epicenter of the modern agricultural
practices (mega-farms) that lead to sulfur depletion in the soil. Among
all fifty states, Oregon has the lowest childhood obesity rates.<br />
Hawaii’s youth are faring less well than their parents, however: while
Hawaii ranks as the fifth from the bottom in obesity rates, its children
aged ten through seventeen weigh in at number thirteen. As Hawaiians
have recently become increasingly dependent on food imports from the
mainland, they have suffered accordingly with increased obesity
problems.<br /> In her recently published book, The Jungle Effect,25 Dr.
Daphne Miller devotes a full chapter to Iceland in which she struggles
to answer the question of why Icelanders enjoy such remarkably low rates
of depression, despite living at a northern latitude, where one would
expect a high incidence of Seasonal Affective Disorder. She points out,
furthermore, their excellent health record in other key areas: “When
compared to North Americans, they have almost half the death rate from
heart disease and diabetes, significantly less obesity, and a greater
life expectancy. In fact, the average life span for Icelanders is
amongst the longest in the world.” While she proposes that their high
fish consumption, with associated high intake of omega-3 fats, may
plausibly be the main beneficial factor, she puzzles over the fact that
former Icelanders who move to Canada and also eat lots of fish do not
also enjoy the same decreased rate of depression and heart disease.<br />
In my view, the key to Icelanders’ good health lies in the string of
volcanoes that make up the backbone of the island, which sits atop the
mid-Atlantic ridge crest. Dr. Miller pointed out that the mass exodus to
Canada was due to extensive volcanic eruptions in the late 1800s, which
blanketed the highly cultivated southeast region of the country. This
means, of course, that the soils today are highly enriched in sulfur.
The cabbage, beets and potatoes that are staples of the Icelandic diet
are likely providing far more sulfur to Icelanders than their
counterparts in the American diet provide.<br />

<i>Many factors affect magnesium availability from
foods. One is the amount of magnesium in the soil in which the food is
grown. Much magnesium can be lost in the processing and refining of
foods and in the making of oils from the magnesium rich nuts and seeds.
Nearly 85% of magnesium is lost during the milling of flours. Soaking
and boiling foods can leach magnesium into the water, so the "pot
liquor" from cooking vegetables may be high in magnesium and other
minerals. Oxalic acid in such vegetables as spinach and chard and phytic
acid in some grains may form insoluble salts with magnesium, causing it
to be eliminated rather than absorbed. For these reasons many people get
insufficient magnesium from their diets. In fact, according to the USDA,
almost one third of the U.S. population gets under 65% of the RDA for
this mineral.</i></div>

THE LACK OF OXYGEN AT THE CELLULAR LEVEL.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />The Prime Cause of Cancer</div>
<br />In
order to understand the dramatic effect of increased oxygenation on
cancer (and all anaerobic diseases) it is important to explain the
conditions (and the only conditions) which allow cancer cells to not
only survive but multiply and flourish. In order to do this an
explanation of the metabolism of healthy and unhealthy cells must be
explained- or in this case non-cancerous and cancerous cells.<br />
<br />A
normal healthy cell burns oxygen and glucose (blood sugar) for energy
and releases carbon dioxide and. This healthy cell is functioning
aerobically- in the presence of sufficient oxygen. No anaerobic (cancer,
Epstein Barr, herpes, mono, genital warts, etc.) can flourish,
replicate or even survive in this oxygen rich environment.<br />
<br />An
unhealthy or diseased cell is lacking sufficient oxygen but will still
produce energy by burning mainly. This is very inefficient and a severe
drain on the body. This energy burning process (sugar fermentation)
releases mainly lactic acid and carbon monoxide instead of carbon
dioxide. This cell is functioning anaerobically- with no oxygen present.
Cancer, viral diseases, etc. flourish in this environment-little or no
oxygen (and low PH).<br />Anaerobic cells must work harder than aerobic cells to produce energy from the glucose they metabolize.<br />
<br />Therefore,
anaerobic cells burn much more glucose to produce the same amount of
energy as aerobic. Cancer cells exhibit this anaerobic mode of
metabolism- lack of oxygen, high glucose consumption, carbon monoxide
and high lactic acid production. Cancer cells thrive in this high
sugar-low oxygen environment but cannot exist in the opposite condition
of high oxygen-low sugar mode of healthy cells.<br />
<br /><strong>Dr. Otto Warburg</strong>,
whose name has been bandied about so often that his significance has
been unjustifiably minimized, was a biochemist in cancer research. He
won the Nobel Prize in Medicine for proving that a cancer cell cannot
exist in an oxidizing, healthy cell. Dr. Waburgh was the director of the
Max Planck Institute for Cell Physiology in Germany. In "The Prime
Cause and Prevention of Cancer" 1967,<br />
<br />Dr. Warburg proposed
that normalizing the metabolism of cancer cells was the key to effective
treatment cancer and the means to accomplish this was to increase the
oxygen content of the cells. Dr.Warburg stated that as the first
priority of treatment, "-- all growing body cells be saturated with
oxygen" and the second priority was to avoid further exposure to toxins.<br />Dr.
Warburg's second priority to avoid further exposure to toxins is more
difficult. We are exposed to toxins every day in the food we eat, water
we drink and air we breathe. Every foreign invader that enters the body
must be oxidized to pass through the body thus using valuable oxygen-
oxygen needed for proper functioning. These unnatural substances include
processed foods and preservatives (to extend life); food dyes;
hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated foods; most vegetables oils
(some rancid almost immediately); polluted water; chlorine, fluoride,
lead, aluminum, etc. in water; polluted air (especially in the inner
cities);smoking; excessive alcohol consumption; exercising to fatigue
(moderate exercise is important); shallow breathing; pesticides;
bleaching of napkins, toilet paper; etc. etc. etc.<br />Is it no wonder that most are oxygen depraved and diseases flourish.<br />
<br />It
is therefore very important to supplement with oxygen daily. There are
several oxygen supplements on market with more being introduced almost
daily. This is the most important supplement you can take to avoid and
reverse anaerobic diseases.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />Herpes Cure Through Oxygenation</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br />Herpes
is a virus and viruses are anaerobic. They exist, survive and
proliferate with little or no oxygen present. The herpes virus lacks the
genetic material for reproduction and must inhabit a cell and rob the
cell of its missing genetic material to multiply. They multiply by
attaching themselves to DNA or RNA of normal cells forcing the cell to
produce more of the virus. They remain latent until our defenses are
down when they travel from cell to cell replicating wildly causing a
herpes outbreak.</div>
<br />The herpes virus cannot exist in an elevated
oxygen environment. Dr. Otto Warburg won the Nobel Prize for proving
that viruses cannot proliferate, cannot exist in the presence of
sufficient oxygen. This is a now an accepted fact. There has been many,
many studies showing the destruction of viruses by the introduction of
increased oxygenation whether it is in the form of ozone, hydrogen
peroxide, hyperbaric oxygen, etc.<br />
<br />Cuba, Russia, West Germany
and Italy have all successfully treated viral infections with increased
oxygenation. At the Center of Medical and Surgical Research in Havana
fifteen adults patients suffering from herpes zoster were treated with
injections of ozone/oxygen for a period of fifteen days. All patients
were completely symptom free after the treatment AND follow-up
examinations a year later showed not one relapse.<br />
<br />Dr. R.
Mattassi of the Division of Vascular Surgery at the Santa Corona
Hospital in Milan, Italy treated 27 herpes patients with intravenous
injections of oxygen and ozone. All patients healed completely after a
minimum of one and a maximum of five injections. Five years later 24 of
the 27 were still outbreak free. Re-infection was suspected in the other
three.<br />
<br />Dr Parris Kidd has stated:<br />"Oxygen plays a pivotal
role in the proper functioning of the immune system; i.e. resistance to
disease, bacterial, and viruses."<br />
<br />Dr. Stephen Levine has also stated:<br />"We can look at oxygen deficiency as the single greatest cause of all disease."<br />Thus
the development of a shortage of oxygen in the blood could very well be
the starting point for the loss of the immune system and the beginning
of feared health problems such as cancer, leukemia, AIDS, candida,
seizures, and nerve deterioration.<br />
<br />Dr Freibott explains why oxygen and oxidation is so vital:<br />"It
is the lack of oxygen in proper amounts in the system that prevents
oxidation and oxygenation, which energizes the cells to biological
regeneration. These processes are the foundation of life and death. If
the normal environment of the cell can be maintained, it will not lose
its growth and reproduction potential. Sub-oxygen creates
sub-oxidation."<br />An oxygen deficiency plays an important part in
cellular contamination. Oxygen is a powerful detoxifier, and when its
quantity is deficient, toxins begin to devastate body functions and
deplete the body of life-giving energy. Without oxygen, there can be no
nourishment. Without nourishment, no heat and no energy can be created,
and the body cannot purify itself. The unhindered development of this
metabolic process results in a circumstance that we call sound health. <br />..........................................................................................................................................<br />Supply
your body with Oxygen by introducing Sulfur back into your diet and
eating proper foods. You have a choice and a responsibilty to take
charge of your own health or you can continue on the same path and keep
getting the same results. <br />
<br />Medication and drugs were never calculated to cure, only treat. Go after the cause and cure. <br />Medication,
drugs, processed foods, smoking, excessive alcohol, chlorine, fluoride,
etc. all deprive your body of the oxygen it needs to survive.<br />
<br />Ever
wonder why over 200,000 people die each year from over medication or
the wrong medication? Drug companies must sell drugs to keep the stock
holders rich. Do they really care about your health?<br />
<br />Our
bodies comprise 4% Sulfur but do not store or make Sulfur. We should be
getting the Sulfur we need from the foods we eat, however, since 1954
the use of chemical fertilizers has apparently broken the Sulfur cycle.<br />
<br />Introduce Sulfur back into your diet and drink lots of pure water, which is oxygen, H20. <br />Sulfur is one main building block of life and the one element that carries oxygen to you cells.<br />For more information and to purchase the purest form of Organic Sulfur made in the USA from the Louisiana Marine Pine tree: <br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><u><b>Fact: Bad bacteria cannot survive in an oxygen rich environment.</b></u></span></div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />You can literally change your health with drinking enough clean water and supplementing with sulfur. Everything from the flora in your intestines to cell regeneration is affected by oxygen.<br />How much water? Take your weight. Divide by 2. Drink that number of ounces of water. So let’s say you are 180 pounds. Divide by 2 = 90. So 90 ounces of purified, chlorine-free water.<br /></span><u><b><span style="font-size: large;">8 Facts about Sulfur you may not know:</span></b></u><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />1. Sulfur (chemical symbol S, atomic number 16) is one of the most important trace minerals on earth (around 5th most important) and is required for food production and a healthy body.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />2. Sulfur is an essential element for all life.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />3. Sulfur is required to regenerate our cells and if our body lacks Sulfur then our cells deteriorate and do not regenerate in a healthy manner, hence we become sick and illnesses such as cancer and heart problems occur.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />4. Since 1954 chemical fertilizers were MANDATED by the US Government. Fertilizers containing ammonium nitrates and sulfates were used by farmers since being MANDATED, however, these fertilizers lack bioavailability and appear to have broken the Sulfur cycle in those countries that use these fertilizers.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />5. Since 1954 the rate of disease in the US has increased by approximately 4,000% (percent) with a resultant decline in health, wealth, mental acuity and quality of life.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />6. A study referred to as "The Sulfur Study" is expected to demonstrate a connection between the lack of Sulfur and the inability of cells to regenerate in a healthy manner. Final results are expected to be released very soon, but preliminary results highlight that all modern diseases can be attributed to mineral deficiencies.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />7. Diseases that never seemed to exist in our Grandparents time now grow at an unprecedented rate and the quality of our food has been greatly diminished.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br />8. Our bodies comprise 4% Sulfur but do not store or make Sulfur. We should be getting the Sulfur we need from the foods we eat, however, since 1954 the use of chemical fertilizers has apparently broken the Sulfur cycle.</span><br />

THE OXYGEN VIEW OF PAIN:<br />
EVERY CHRONIC PAIN IS SOME CELLS' CRY FOR OXYGEN<br />
Majid Ali, M.D.<br />
<br />
Oxygen is the organizing influence of human biology and governs the aging
process. In 2000, I began
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1879131242/qid=1084816198/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/102-1321194-6469715?v=glance&s=books&n=507846">
Oxygen and Aging</a>1 with those words. Oxygen is a master work of nature — an
enduring tribute to Nature's preoccupation with complementarity and contrariety.
It is an elixir of life and a hemlock for death — the ultimate molecular Dr.
Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Sometimes by its presence and sometimes by its absence,
oxygen initiates signaling for cellular life as well as demise. In that context,
it is important to recognize that oxygen drives chronic pain pathways primarily
by its absence. <br />
<br />
A large number of pain neurotransmitters are involved in clinical pain
syndromes, including: substance P; enkephalins; neurokinin 1, 2, and 3;
serotonin; adenosine triphosphate (ATP); nitric oxide; calcitonin; vasoactive
intestinal peptides; epinephrine, norepinephrine, and related sympathomimetic
agents; glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and related excitatory transmitters; and
GABA, glycine, and related inhibitory transmitters.2-4 Some excitatory
transmitters concerned with chronic pain include glutamic acid and aspartic
acid, which are involved with dorsal horn sensitization through activation of
NMDA receptors, while inhibitory transmitters participate in mechanisms that
prevent or diminish pain. It seems safe to predict that future work will
establish that, directly and indirectly, all those molecular species are
triggered or influenced by oxygen deficit. <br />
<br />
<b>Oxygen and Pain Neurotransmitters</b><br />
<br />
Neurotransmitters transmit information across synapses — regions separating
neurons from adjoining neurons, as well as neurons from the muscle cells. These
substances are stored in the bulbous ends of axons, and are released by
electrical impulses traveling along the nerves to those ends. Upon their
release, neurotransmitter either facilitate or inhibit continued electrical
impulses along the nerve fibers on the other side of the synapse. Over 300
molecular species have been recognized to be involved in neurotransmission.5
Some of the best known of those over 300 neurotransmitters have been listed in a
preceding section. It is regrettable that all neurologists and others in the
headache industry I know limit their work only to serotonin and a few related
neurotransmitters.<br />
<br />
Next to oxygen and serotonin, substance P (SP) is the best examined of all the
pain neurotransmitters, and its relationship with oxygen deficit has been most
clearly delineated.6-11It is an 11-residue peptide belonging to the tachykinin
sub-family of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCR). Those receptors form a class
of integral membrane proteins. Serotonin in the mammalian brain and receptors of
the olfactory epithelium that binds odorants are two other members of this
family are receptors.<br />
<br />
Oxygen deficit triggers the release of substance P. There are several lines of
direct and indirect evidence for it.12,13 Direct evidence for that comes from
experiments in which decreasing concentrations of oxygen were associated with
the release of increasing amounts of SP.12 Specifically, the carotid bodies
contain SP — in concentrations ranging from 1.4 to 1.6 ng/mg protein — that is
released in response to tissue hypoxia. The amount of SP released from the
carotid bodies increases in proportion to the severity of hypoxia. It is
noteworthy that the release of SP by hypoxia is a calcium-dependent process, and
is primarily mediated by N- and L-type Ca2+ channels.13 <br />
<br />
<br />
Other lines of evidence for the fundamental role of oxygen deficit in the
causation of pain include the following: (1) skin lactate levels are increased
in complex regional pain14; (2) SP increases protein extravasation in regional
chronic pain states15; (3) intradermal injection of epinephrine causes local
pain (due to vasoconstriction and consequent oxygen deficit)16; (4) a tissue
hypoxia occurs in complex regional pain syndrome17; (5) ascorbic acid reduces
pain in reflex sympathetic dystrophy18; and (6) certain other free radial
scavengers also reduce pain in complex regional pain states19 — the mechanism of
action of antioxidants being restoration of local oxygen homeostasis.<br />
<br />
Substance P exerts varied effects on different tissues.20-24 It is excitatory to
the carotid body. Release of larger amounts of SP in the lungs is associated
with pulmonary hypertension, an effect that is attenuated by antioxidants. In
the nasal mucosa, hyperbaric oxygen decreases immunoreactivity to substance P.25
Not unexpectedly in light of the oxygen/SP dynamics, oxyradicals under certain
conditions also trigger the release of substance P. By contrast, antioxidants,
such as ascorbic acid, inhibit the release of SP.18 However, the relationships
between antioxidants and SP are complex. For instance, ca</span></span></span></div>
<span style="font-size: small;">
</span><div style="margin-left: 5px; margin-right: 5px; margin-top: 5px;">
<span style="font-size: small;">
<span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">icin increases
regional perfusion — and oxygen delivery, inhibiting the release of SP — but is
also known to increase SP release in the lung. Oxidants also have complex
relationships with SP. For example, nitric oxide serving as an oxidant modulates
histamine release from tissue mast cell and circulating basophils, and so
contributes to pain caused by histamine.26-27 On the other hand, nitric oxide,
through its vasodilator role, improves oxygen transport, decreases the release
of SP, and mitigates some pain syndromes. (See Nature's Preoccupation With
Complementarity and Contrariety, the first volume of The Principles and Practice
of Medicine,28 for an in-depth treatment of the subject).<br />
<br />
Substance P also has complex relationships with certain other physiologic
compounds, including enzymes and hormones.29,30 For instance, increased amounts
of erythrocyte 2,3-diphosphoglycerate (2,3 DPG) caused by chronic hypoxia is
associated with increased release of SP. Since chronic hypoxia increases the
concentration of 2,3-DPG, this provides yet another mechanims by which oxygen
deficit causes pain. Fascinating! How oxygen, by its absence, both triggers a
mechanism for correcting that problem (by increasing 2,3-DGP production) and
sends out messages to other cellular systems for participation in that effort
(by inducing the production of SP). An example of the involvement of enzyme
system with SP is that acute depressor actions of angiotensin II in the nucleus
of the solitary tract are mediated by SP. An insight into the possible
interactions between SP and hormones is provided by the complementary roles of
SP and calcitonin gene-related peptide in the causation of phantom and ischemic
pains.<br />
<br />
An interesting aspect of the oxygen/substance P dynamics is revealed by the case
of the East African naked mole-rats (Heterocephalus glaber). This rat species
lacks substance P and does not appear to suffer pain when tormented.31 The rats
feel no immediate pain when cut, scraped or subjected to heat stimuli. They only
feel some aches. But when the rats get a shot of SP, pain signaling resumes
working as in other mammals. One can only wonder about what other defense
mechanisms exist in this rat species that compensate for substance P.<br />
<br />
<b>On the Nature of Pain </b><br />
Pain is a sensory perception intricately linked to the emotional state of the
person. Pain is not a disease, nor a discrete bodily state. That explains why
pain in different cultures means different things to different people. This is a
crucially important aspect of pain when considering the biochemistry of pain
neurotransmitters presented above. I had certain ideas of pain during three
decades of my work as a surgeon and a pathologist. In those years, I suffered
migraine attacks. Since vomiting accompanying migraine did not allow me to keep
any painkillers down, I gave myself Demerol injection for relief. My work in
integrative medicine changed all that. Then I taught myself control of migraine
by assuring optimal hydration, preventing rapid hypoglycemic/hyperglycemic
roller coasters and consequent rapid insulin shifts, addressing issues of mold
and food allergy, and controlling vasospasm with self-regulatory methods — all
measures that restore oxygen homeostasis, locally or systemically. I have not
had to take Demerol during the last eight years. I have a prolapsed lumbar disc
which sometimes caused disabling backache. During those years, I also taught
myself control of that pain with</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;"> <a href="http://www.majidali.com/limbic_breathing.htm">Limbic Breathing</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">32 — an energetic method of
breathing with extended periods of exhalation (see Healing Miracles and the Bite
of the Gray Dog33 for details of other effective self-regulatory methods). For
years, I have controlled my back pain with limbic breathing, without any
painkillers, manipulations, laser or other therapies.<br />
<br />
I might point out here that direct oxygen therapies — oxygen by mask and
hyperbaric oxygen — have been successfully used in controlling headaches and
migraine attacks.34-37 Specifically, in one double-blind trial breathing 100%
oxygen for 15 minutes or less during headache episodes controlled or
significantly reduced the pain of acute cluster attacks in all subjects.34 Not
surprisingly, one fourth of the study participants experienced cluster attacks
soon after the treatment was stopped35 — since various elements putting in
jeopardy oxygen homeostasis were not addressed. Administration of higher
concentrations of oxygen during the postoperative period relieves or reduces the
intensity of postoperative pain. It appears to both reduce the release of
substance P and influence pain inhibitory pathways in the peripheral nerves.
Correlation between urinary substance P and bladder pain has been documented.
<br />
<br />
Seeing Pain, Thinking Oxygen<br />
<br />
In my clinical work when I see pain, I think oxygen. I think about how
dehydration in one person worsens functional oxygen deficits, and how
incremental oxidative stress threatens oxygen homeostasis — locally and/or
systemically — in another. I think about how hyperglycemic- hypoglycemic shifts
trigger rapid insulin responses increases the intensity of pain in yet others. I
think about how undetected and unmanaged allergic triggers acting in the
</span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;">
<a href="http://www.ethicsinmedicine.us/bowel.htm" style="text-decoration: none;">
bowel</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">
and elsewhere cumulatively cause
</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;"><a href="http://www.majidali.com/seven.htm">oxidosis</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">, acidosis, dehydration, add to
oxidosis, acidosis — and then all collectively threaten functionality of oxygen,
increasing the degree of pain regardless what the initial pain triggers might
be. Then I wonder how often do neurologists and anesthesiologists at pain
centers think about the effects of total body burden of toxic metals and
xenobiotics on pain neurochemistry — by feeding the frenzy of the three furies
of pain — oxidosis, acidosis, and
</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;"><a href="http://www.majidali.com/JIM_Darwin,Oxidosis.htm">dysoxygenosis</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">. <br />
<br />
Following are some commonly observed clinical manifestations of biochemical
interactions among the pain sensors and modifiers listed above:<br />
<br />
1. Coronary chest pain is relieved or mitigated by the administration of oxygen,
as are attacks of headache and migraine34-37;<br />
2. Direct oxystatic measures — treatments that restore oxygen homeostasis,
including ozone, hydrogen peroxide, singlet oxygen, and related treatments —
prevent, diminish or relieve diffuse tissue pain in
</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;">
<a href="http://www.majidali.com/Vol%202%20No%201%20Scientific%20Explanations.htm">fibromyalgia</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">38,39;<br />
3. Indirect oxystatic measures — treatments such as prolotherapy with injection
of 50% glucose or other suitable agents that stimulate fibroproliferative
responses — relieve trigger point pain by evoking local oxystatic inflammatory
tissue response40; <br />
5. Chronic back pain in many cases can be relieved by effective self-regulatory
methods, especially with specific breathing methods (see limbic breathing in The
Cortical Monkey and Healing32; <br />
6. Pain syndromes accompanying reflex sympathetic dystrophy can be relieved with
direct oxystatic therapies combined with indirect oxystatic measures, including
restoration of bowel ecology and hepatic detoxification (personal unpublished
observations); and<br />
7. Cooling of forehead diminishes sympathetic tone, increases regional blood
supply (correcting oxygen deficit), and relieves certain types of pain
associated with dysautonomia.41<br />
<br />
On deeper reflection, the pain-relieving roles of oxygen and oxyradicals can be
recognized in most, if not all, empirically proven pain control therapies.
Indeed, in my own clinical work I find that every chronic pain can be partially
or completely controlled by effective direct and indirect oxystatic therapies.
That, in essence, is the "oxygen view of pain" presented in this article.<br />
<br />
Author's Priorities for Headache and Migraine: A Clinical Application of the
Oxygen View of Pain<br />
<br />
Headache and migraine patients must take the time to understand the true nature
of their suffering, and not waste time on worrying what type of headache and
migraine they may or may not have. They must understand that drug therapies
cannot be accepted as the full treatment of their suffering. They must know that
their suffering can be prevented by non-drug therapies, except in rare instances
of pain associated with depression, anxiety, or drug dependence. It is mandatory
to have tests done for antibodies for molds and this issue addressed. Mold
sensitivity was present in nearly all of my patients with headache attacks. The
same holds for uncovering and effectively managing food sensitivities. Even
ordinary fluctuations in blood
</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;"><a href="http://www.majidali.com/lions-1.htm">sugar</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;"> levels can trigger headache attacks. So
headache and migraine patients must not miss
</span></span><span style="font-family: arial;">
<a href="http://www.majidali.com/breakfast.htm" style="text-decoration: none;">breakfast</a></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial;">. Similarly, dehydration
increases vulnerability to headache, and optimal hydration must be assured for
optimal control of headache. In many instances, myofascial trigger points in the
neck, shoulders, and scalp trigger headache attacks. Such trigger points require
resolution by appropriate therapies. The author's choice is prolotherapy with
50% glucose.40 Headache and migraine patients must become sensitive to problems
caused by excess acidity.<br />
<br />
Cellular oxidosis, acidosis, and dysoxygenosis resulting from nutrient deficits
can trigger, perpetuate, or intensify headache. So, I consider nutritional
therapies — magnesium, calcium, and potassium stand out in this context — as
well as selected phytotherapies as important components of the program. And most
importantly, headache and migraine attacks are commonly triggered by stress and
perpetuated by chronic anger. Thus, such patients must learn effective
self-regulatory methods for prevention and treatment of headache. (See Healing
Miracles and the Bite of the Gray Dog.23) Most importantly, persons with
headache and migraine must learn to think oxygen when they experience pain. They
need to recognize that self- regulatory, nutritional, and environmental measures
enlighten and empower them, while drug therapies for headache disempower the
sufferers and keep them in the dark.<br />
<br />
In closing, the crucial clinical importance of the "oxygen view of pain"
presented above is this: It mandates that all relevant oxygen issues be
diligently addressed in the clinical management of every patient with a chronic
pain syndrome. How often do clinicians recognize the essential commonality of
biochemical lesions — oxidosis, acidosis, and dysoxygenosis — that cause
migraine and heart attack? How often do they see that commonality between the
pain episodes of severe dysmenorrhea and myofascial trigger points? And that
between arthritis and sympathetic reflex dystrophy? And that between pain of
prolapsed vertebral discs and fibromyalgia? And that between pain of TMJ and
renal colic? The oxygen view of pain provides a clear link. What might be
required for managing ischemic coronary syndromes with the oxygen view of pain?
The same approach as for controlling migraine attacks given above. Why? Because
the oxygen issues that cause oxidative coagulopathy and so set the stage for
coronary artery blockages are exactly the same as those that trigger migraine
attacks.
</span></span><a href="http://www.majidali.com/coronary_Heart_Disease.htm"><span lang="en-us">
<span style="font-family: arial;">C</span></span></a><span style="font-family: arial;"><a href="http://www.majidali.com/coronary_Heart_Disease.htm">holesterol</a></span></span><span lang="en-us"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: small;">, I might add here, is an antioxidant and protects the
coronary arteries until it gets oxidized, becomes rancid, contributes to
oxidative coagulopathy, and sets the stage for atherosclerosis. <br />

<h3>
Abstract</h3>
<div>
With
the exception of melanoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, the incidence of
cancer has peaked in the last several years, but rates and mortality are
still high. Moreover, despite 50 years of intensive cancer research
increasingly focused on genetic causes, no single unifying cause for
cancer has been established. Although it is well-known that tumors are
hypoxic, and that there is a correlation between the level of hypoxia
and prognosis, with the exception of Warburg's studies, little work has
been done to investigate the relationship between hypoxia and cancer.
Over 70 years ago, Warburg showed that cells could always be made
cancerous by subjecting them to periods of hypoxia. Moreover, he
demonstrated that once cells had converted to a cancerous state,
reversion could not occur. Modern biochemistry acknowledges that there
is a switch from oxidative phosphorylation to glycolysis in tumors that
might be concurrent with hypoxia, but does not address the cancer
causation. It is our hypothesis that long-term hypoxia of cells in the
body, measured in years, is the primary trigger for cancer. We believe
that the hypoxia, which has to meet Warburg's findings of a critical 35%
reduction in intracellular oxygen levels to initiate cancer, is linked
to the incorporation of adulterated, non-oxygenating, or inappropriate
polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) into the phospholipids of cell and
mitochondrial membranes. Such incorporation causes changes in membrane
properties that impair oxygen transmission into the cell. Trans fats,
partially oxidized PUFA entities, and inappropriate omega-6:omega-3
ratios are all potential sources of unsaturated fatty acids that can
disrupt the normal membrane structure. In this paper, we explore this
hypothesis by examining the evidence, and additionally propose an
appropriate PUFA dosage for humans by analyzing requirements and taking
into account current PUFA consumption patterns.</div>

<br />
All living things need sulphur. It is especially important for humans because it is part of the amino acid methionine, which is an absolute dietary requirement for us. The amino acid cysteine also contains sulphur. The average person takes in around 900 mg of sulphur per day, mainly in the form of protein.<br />
<br />
Elemental sulphur is not toxic, but many simple sulphur derivates are, such as sulphur dioxide (SO2) and hydrogen sulfide.<br />
<br />
Sulfur can be found commonly in nature as sulphides. During several processes sulfur bonds are added to the environment that are damaging to animals, as well as humans. These damaging sulphur bonds are also shaped in nature during various reactions, mostly when substances that are not naturally present have already been added. They are unwanted because of their unpleasant smells and are often highly toxic.<br />
<br />
Globally sulphuric substances can have the following effects on human health:<br />
<br />
- Neurological effects and behavioural changes<br />
- Disturbance of blood circulation<br />
- Heart damage<br />
- Effects on eyes and eyesight<br />
- Reproductive failure<br />
- Damage to immune systems<br />
- Stomach and gastrointestinal disorder<br />
- Damage to liver and kidney functions<br />
- Hearing defects<br />
- Disturbance of the hormonal metabolism<br />
- Dermatological effects<br />
- Suffocation and lung embolism <br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
NO fillers, flow agents, binders, anti-caking agents or preservatives — just pure Organic Sulfur.<br />
100% American Made. The cleanest and purist source of Organic Sulfur
(MSM) in the world. Cellular-Oxygenation ORGANIC SULFUR CRYSTALS are
derived from 100% U.S. sourced DMSO that has gone through a stringent
distillation process to convert it to a crystallized food grade MSM
powder. Our sulfur crystals are the purest on the market at a guaranteed
99.9% purity level!<br />
Organic Sulfur is found in the cells of all living organisms (plant
& animal). Sulfur plays a critical role in the oxygenation and
detoxification of all cells. Simply put, the “Sulfur Cycle” was broken
over 70 years ago when farmers switched from using manure as a
fertilizer to chemical based fertilizers and also began spraying the
farmlands of the world with toxic pesticides. What few knew at the time
is that these “man-made” agents would inhibit sulfur in the human body,
eventually leading to a global disease epidemic. The fact is almost
every person alive is “Sulfur Deficient”. What’s worse, most processed
and packaged have little to no usable sulfur.<br />
<br />
Organic Sulfur is not a drug or prescription medicine. It is a
mineral food supplement that supplies the cells of the body with one of
the most vital minerals necessary for oxygen uptake in the cells and
cellular detoxification.<br />
<br />
Do I hear you say “but I ALREADY HAVE some MSM!”? You might have some
MSM, but unless it was produced the way our sulfur has been produced,
is 100% guaranteed “Made in the USA”, and contains absolutely no
binders, fillers or excipients, including silicon dioxide, the
anti-caking ingredient that interferes with the uptake of sulfur to the
cells, it will not protect you properly from the toxic load we’re under
from chemtrails and sulfur deficiency in the foods we eat! It also won’t
protect you optimally from the degenerative diseases that have been
running rampant since the sulfur cycle was broken in the 1950s when
farmers stopped using manure in favor of synthetic petroleum based
fertilizers which increased crop yields but made the soil deficient in
sulfur.<br />
<br />
If you take the organic sulfur we sell and put some in a shot glass,
pour in some hot water, and let it evaporate, you will see large
crystals form. You need sulfur that will form large crystals to work
optimally in your cells. If you take most commercially available MSM,
and try this, due to the damage from heat in the manufacturing process
it won’t form large crystals and it takes about five times as much to
even approximate the results you’ll get from cheaper MSM products sold
elsewhere.<br />
<br />
This is a food supplement that every single person on the planet needs on
hand to protect themselves from the chemical assault we’re under to
protect their health. <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://cellular-oxygenation.com/CELLULAR-OXYGENATION.php" target="_blank"><strong>Order now!!!</strong></a></span><br />
<br />
Organic Sulfur has a long history as a healing agent in the human
body. For centuries, mankind has soaked in sulfur-rich, mineral hot
springs to help heal a variety of ailments. It is the presence of sulfur
that is believed to assist in easing joint pain. MSM is a naturally
occurring nutrient that provides the body with essential sulfur and
methyl groups that are used in the healing and repair processes. It is
these healing and repairing abilities that make it an optimal choice for
athletes recovering from soft tissue and joint injuries. <u>Organic Sulfur
can safely be taken long term with no documented side effects!</u><br />

<h1 class="entry-title" style="text-align: center;">
<u><span style="font-size: x-large;"> </span></u></h1>
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>What is the fertilizer in our food made of and what effects does
it have on our health? How does the fertilizer now, in terms of mineral
content, differ from the fertilizer of the pre-industrial age?</b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Pre industrial age fertilizers were organic, natural decomposition of
organic material mainly manures. Chemical fertilizers are produced from
high temperature processing of organic materials such as coal tar and
later crude oil. The use of temperatures above the vaporization point of
sulfur as described by the petrochemical company’s own web sites appear
to be the issue.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Those cultures which have organic fertilized food supplies have lower
disease than those who use artificial forms of plant foods. Finland
banned the use of chemical fertilizers because of they feared the
cadmium and its perceived toxic abilities in 1985. Their epidemiology
has shown a 10 fold improvement compared to that of the US in 1985 which
had almost identical numbers.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">This is a story that may be too convoluted to tell briefly. But
regarding sulfur hopefully this will suffice. Chemical fertilizers were
first developed in the 1700s by a Polish researcher. Not until Farbin (
Bayer ) adopted this research and began producing chemical fertilizers
from coal tar in 1860 did their use affect those who ate the food. Two
medical events which occurred in Germany we feel could be directly
related to these fertilizers. 1906 Dr Alzheimer described “ women lost
in their own minds.” otherwise Alzheimer’s which had not observed in
countries other than Germany until after the adoption of the use of
these chemical fertilizers. Most of Europe had adopted these fertilizers
before the start of WW2. In 1920, Dr. Otto Warburg had an opportunity
to see enough cancer to describe the basis for his Noble Prize work
while cancer was less evident in other countries. In 1938 when the price
of gas and crude oil was cheap Prescott Bush [the grandfather of
current (2008) U.S. President George W. Bush] and Nelson Rockefeller
[the son of John D. Rockefeller] contracted with Farbin I.G. to develop a
crude oil based fertilizer in the West Nile Region of Africa. That
formula which is known as Ammonium Sulfate and Ammonium Nitrate is the
leading formula for most chemical fertilizers used world wide.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">These fertilizers are devoid of sulfur due to the 380 degree F
temperatures at which they are “crackled.” The other issue is that these
fertilizers bind up any free sulfur available in rain water from the
sulfur cycle.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Sulfur is the forgotten nutrient as stated by Dr. Beth Ley, Ph.D.
Sulfur is the third or fourth most important mineral ( element )
necessary for healthy metabolism yet sulfur is not discussed in medical
or scientific literature. The assumption is that we get all of the
sulfur we need from our food we eat and that may have been true until we
changed the way we feed our food.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">A review of the epidemiology of the US since 1954 when chemical
fertilizers were mandated shows as much as a 4,000% increase in cancer
and other disease entities. The responses from our Study members appear
to suggest that by adding sulfur to their diets these disease entities
have been reversed or addressed in a positive manner.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Finland is an interesting case for the effects of chemical
fertilizers. Fearing the cadmium these fertilizers contained Finland
banned their use in 1985. Nowhere was sulfur ever mentioned regarding
these fertilizers.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Other cultures such as the Amish which use only organic fertilizers
also enjoy fewer diseases though we must rely on the fewer studies
regarding their “epidemiology.” Okinawa and South Korea have lower
disease rates compared to the rest of Japan or North Korea. Brazil has
higher disease rates than Argentina which relies on manure rather than
chemical fertilizers.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">The manufacturers of chemical fertilizers argue that their products
produce greater crop yields, but the question is whether the nutritional
value is also higher compared to the gross tonnage. [a very interesting
point]</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>“Without a constant supply of sulfur we are, in effect, dying each
day through cellular degeneration.” What are some ways a person can get
an adequate supply of sulfur in their body to stay healthy?</b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Prior to the use of chemical fertilizers, we and many nutritional
researchers as stated in Jack Challem’s article the “Sulfur Solution”
our nutritional need for sulfur was supplied by all of the food we ate.
We argue that since we have altered the bio available sulfur our food
receives have become sulfur deficient. Grass eating livestock plus
organically grown produce could again supply our need for sulfur. Those
cultures which eat organically grown foods are not sulfur deficient.
Garlic, green onions, kale, broccoli and spinach are high in sulfur, if
grown organically. Sulfur is a mineral which is not made by plants or
animals, it is either in our soils or NOT. Until we return to a more
organic agribusiness then supplementing is the only way we see to allow
our bodies to stay healthy regarding our need for sulfur. We feel it is
important to remember that we and all living organisms are cells which
are combined within a matrix to form all of our “parts” and in turn our
whole.</span><br />

<h1 class="entry-title">
10 Reasons Conventional Medicine Can’t Heal Your Chronic Pain</h1>
</header>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>1. American conventional medicine is focused on acute care, not chronic illness.</b>
Americans mistakenly believe that the United States has the best health
care in the world. This may be true in cases of emergent traumatic
injury. But the Journal of the American Medical Association ranked the
United States second to last on a list of 13 countries when it was
measured for 16 health care efficacy factors.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Despite the fact that we spend more money on health care than any other country on the planet, the <strong><em>World Health Organization ranked the US thirty-seventh on a list of health care system performance</em></strong>.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="color: blue;">In an article published in the Journal of the American Medical
Association, physician error, medication error and adverse events from
drugs or surgery kill 225,400 people per year. That means <em>our health care system is the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer!</em></span></b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>2. Doctors don’t receive the right kind of education.</b>
Education in medical schools and during residency focuses on intensive,
in-hospital medicine. But 75% of patient problems relate to nutrition,
lack of energy, weight control, sleep, chronic digestive concerns,
depression, anxiety, and other common issues, which are not an important
part of medical school curriculum.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>3. Many doctors treat mainly symptoms.</b> They stop at diagnosis
rather than looking for root causes. They write you a prescription that
suppresses the symptom, and go on to the next patient. This is like
unplugging your smoke alarm in your house to stop that horrible noise!
The drugs stop the alarm. They cover up the symptoms, while the fire
continues to grow until serious damage occurs.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>4. Insurance companies only reimburse doctors when they make a diagnosis.</b>
If the doctor can’t write down a code number for a diagnosis, there’s
no reimbursement. This means that recommendations for lifestyle or
nutritional changes, stress management or grief counseling, often don’t
get reimbursed.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>5. When a diagnosis is proclaimed, your doctor stops thinking.</b> The diagnosis leads to a treatment plan and usually a prescription drug. End of story. <em>Simply naming the disorder doesn’t explain how or why you developed the problem.</em>
And starting a treatment plan without understanding the how or why will
only result in covering up the symptoms, not healing the underlying
problems.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">Instead, the diagnosis should be the start of the thought process.
Why do you have that disorder? Is there an underlying cause that can be
addressed? Most disorders have multiple underlying factors. It takes
time, trial and error, and thinking to figure things out. Most doctors
simply don’t have the time.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>6. Doctors are overworked, distracted, and in a hurry.</b>
According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, the
average interaction between doctor and patient lasts 23 seconds before
an interruption! They often don’t ask about your medical history, or pay
attention to all of your symptoms, because they may already have a
preconceived treatment planned for you.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>7. Conventional medicine often rejects research that doesn’t conform to the prevailing medical belief system.</b>
Many effective treatments are ignored by doctors too busy to
investigate and taught a mindset that discounts new or unusual
approaches.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>8. Many doctors treat conditions that have no known cause with
toxic medications that can be more damaging than the disorder they are
treating.</b> Example: commonly prescribed medications for arthritis
have side effects that can include depression, impotence, fatigue,
coughing, stomach ulcers, and internal bleeding. These medications don’t
cure the arthritis, but instead they create all new problems for the
patient.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>9. Specialization leads to a narrowly focused, disjointed perspective,</b>
rather than viewing the patient as a total person. Remember the slogan
“Parts is parts”? You go to your primary care doctor, who doesn’t know
what’s wrong. So he sends you to a specialist. If the problem doesn’t
seem to have a solution within his specialty he sends you back to your
primary doctor, who refers you to a different specialist. Back and forth
you go. No real answers, because nobody is looking at the whole person!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>10. Patients feel loss of control,</b> attacked by something that
has possessed them, dependent on “experts” to tell them what to do. In
reality, most diseases result from imbalances in many factors
(disruption of your body’s ecology). And <em>balancing those factors
will require your full involvement, and your feedback about what is
working or not. No one else can do this for you.</em></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><em><a href="http://cellular-oxygenation.com/CELLULAR-OXYGENATION.php">http://cellular-oxygenation.com/CELLULAR-OXYGENATION.php</a><a href="http://cellular-oxygenation.com/Organic_Sulfur_Study.html"></a></em></span><div class="blogger-post-footer">www.cellular-oxygenation.com</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6206415452576804033.post-31277265622731533902013-12-12T09:08:00.000-06:002013-12-12T09:08:32.442-06:00<br />

10 “Diseases” of Chronic Dehydration</h1>
<h1 class="entry-title" style="text-align: center;">

<h1 class="entry-title" style="text-align: center;">
</h1>

<br />
<div class="entry-content">
<span style="font-size: large;">Dehydration can be a root cause of many kinds of “diseases” and
pain. It is estimated up to 75% of Americans are chronically thirsty,
but <i>may have lost the ability to recognize it!</i></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://www.no-pain-just-gain.com/chronically-dehydrated.html"><br />
</a>Sometimes pain indicates a chronic lack of water in your body’s tissue. In his book: <i>Your Body’s Many Cries for Water–You’re Not Sick; You’re Thirsty,</i>
Dr. F. Batmanghelidj states his opinion that dehydration is the number
one stressor of the human body, and that often pain is your body’s cry
of thirst. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">:</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Arthritis</b> and <b>low back pain</b> are signs of water shortage
in the joints, spinal column and disks. Treating arthritis and low back
pain with pain-killers, manipulation, acupuncture, and eventually
surgery will, in time, produce osteoarthritis, deformity of the spine
and crippling deformities of the limbs when the cartilage cells in the
joints have eventually all died.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Migraine headache</b> is a sign of water need by the brain and the
eyes. It will totally clear up if dehydration is prevented from
establishing in the body.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Asthma</b> occurs when the body obstructs the free passage of air
so that water does not leave the body in the form of vapor. Increased
water and salt intake will prevent asthma attacks and help break the
mucus plugs in the lungs that obstruct the free flow of air in and out
of the air sacs.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Adult-onset diabetes</b> is another adaptive state to severe
dehydration. To have adequate water in circulation and for the brain’s
priority water needs, in diabetes, only some cells get survival rations
of water. Water and some salt will reverse adult-onset diabetes in its
early stages.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Heartburn</b> is a major thirst signal of the human body. The use
of antacids or tablet medications in the treatment of this pain does not
correct dehydration, and the body continues to suffer as a result of
its water shortage. Treating heartburn with antacids and pill
medications will, in time, produce inflammation of the stomach and
duodenum, hiatal hernia, ulceration, and eventually cancers in the
gastrointestinal tract, including the liver and pancreas.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Colitis pain</b> is a signal of water shortage in the large
intestine, as it constricts to squeeze the last drop of water from the
excrement. Not recognizing colitis pain as a sign of dehydration can
lead to persistent constipation, fecal impacting, diverticulitis,
hemorrhoids and polyps, and appreciably increases the possibility of
developing cancer of the colon and rectum.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Angina</b> is a sign of water shortage in the heart/lung axis, and can be treated with increased water intake.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Hypertension</b> is the body’s adaptation to generalized drought,
when there is not enough water to fill all the blood vessels that
diffuse water into vital cells. Water and some salt intake will bring
blood pressure back to normal. Treating hypertension with diuretics that
further dehydrate the body will, in time, cause blockage by cholesterol
of the heart arteries and the arteries that go to the brain, heart
attacks, small or massive strokes, kidney disease, brain damage, and
neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>High cholesterol</b> levels are an indicator of early drought </span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">management by the body. Cholesterol is a clay-like material that is
poured in the gaps of some cell membranes to safeguard them against
losing their vital water content to the osmotically more powerful blood
circulating in their vicinity. Cholesterol, apart from being used to
manufacture nerve cell membranes and hormones, is also used as a
“shield” against water taxation of other vital cells that would normally
exchange water through their cell membranes.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Obesity</b> can be an adaptation to chronic dehydration. When you
don’t have enough water in your body to process waste, the body protects
itself by storing excess toxins in fat cells. Water provides
hydroelectric energy to your cells, but if there isn’t enough water to
create that energy, your body creates hunger pangs to get you to provide
food as a secondary source of energy. This is why thirst is often
confused with hunger.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;"><b>“I drink water all day long, but I’m still dehydrated!”</b></span><br />
<span style="font-size: large;">
</span><span style="font-size: large;">This is a common complaint, and typically indicates a lack of <a href="http://www.cellular-oxygenation.com/" target="_blank" title="Sulfur">Sulfur</a>.
The cell walls lose their pliability, and as a consequence don’t easily
allow water and oxygen through. Sulfur will help you hydrate your
cells, bringing oxygen and nutrients in and transporting wastes out.</span><br />

<h1>
Organic Sulfur: the Missing Link for Your Health</h1>
<br />
<b>Organic Sulfur </b>is not a supplement, a vitamin or a nutrient. The MSM—the <b>Organic Sulfur</b>, available through the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study </b>is actually food. It is a crucial component of a healthy diet.<br />
Research in the Cellular Matrix Study (since 1999), and in the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study</b> (since 2005) has shown the <b>Organic Sulfur</b>
we recommend is different from the MSM that is sold elsewhere. This has
been consistently demonstrated when compared to a dozen-or-so other MSM
products that we have evaluated. The <b>Organic Sulfur</b> that the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study </b>participants
take has repeatedly shown to have significantly better healing
properties than other types of MSM. This website explains the
differences. Please read the About Organic Sulfur and Catalyst Altered
Water pages so you can make an informed choice about taking <b>Organic Sulfur </b>.<br />
<br />
<h1>
</h1>
As of 2010, the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study </b>has
been on-going in Canada for five years. The benefits listed below have
been reported by people who participate in the study. These are a few of
the many amazing health benefits for those who regularly take <b>bio-available Organic Sulfur</b>:<br />
<ul></ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Allergies, Asthma, and Emphysema</b>: some people with
more serious conditions stopped depending on the bottled oxygen they had
been t</li>
<li><b>Skin Conditions</b>: <b>especially acne </b>,
psoriasis, rosacea (red skin splotches), liver spots, and disorders
associated with Lupus Erythematosus have been eliminated. With rosacea
and acne, sometimes in as little as two weeks.</li>
<li>oting around in spite of the fact that they continued smoking.
(When combined with related EFT/energy work most mild and moderate cases
reported 100% resolution for allergies and asthma.)</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Addictions and Food Cravings</b>: Detoxification and
reduction of addictions cravings and food cravings seems to be
accelerated and reduced when people are maintaining abstinence from
addictive substances and junk food. We have reports that the detoxifying
phase of recovery appears to be shorter and less intense.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Cancer and Chemotherapy</b>: Study members undergoing
cancer treatment who took 30 – 40 g of Organic Sulfur (15 – 20 g twice a
day) had no nausea, diarrhea, or hair loss during chemotherapy. There
was also a surprisingly noticeable reduction of cancer cell counts as
reported by their oncologists.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Lymphomas </b>appear to consistently reduce in response to <b>Organic Sulfur</b>—both
in the associated pain and in decreased size of tumors. When combined
with EFT/body energy work, several cases of cervical, breast, and
prostate cancer have been resolved without any medical involvement
(sometimes in two weeks).</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Diabetics </b>are noticeable helped because
bio-cellular organic sulfur is essential for the production of insulin
and sulfur-based amino acids, which are necessary for the metabolism of
carbohydrates.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Arthritis</b>: All types of arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, with long-term use of <b>Organic Sulfur</b>, report much less pain and dramatically increased motility. <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study</b>
participants reported the straightening of finger joints and the
resolution of internal scar tissue around the joints. With additional
body energy work (Emotional Freedom Techniques), using pH <b>Catalyst Altered Water</b>, and <b>Organic Sulfur</b> several participants with mild to moderate arthritis reported 100% resolution within six months.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Hep C / HIV</b>: One person regenerated his liver to a healthy state after 25 years of Hepatitis C with only this specific <b>Organic Sulfur</b>
(eighteen months of two table-spoons of organic sulfur twice a day). We
believe there would be a noticeable positive shift in recovering from
HIV with <b>Organic Sulfur</b> when combined with EFT/energy work, however there are too few study members at this time to report any information.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Kidney Stones</b>: one study member reported passing
small kidney stones with no pain at all, and only a very mild physical
discomfort that lasted one or two minutes.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Open Heart Surgical Procedures</b>: 54 cases of
scheduled surgery were cancelled when the individual’s EKG returned to
normal. This happened within as little as six weeks of ingesting <b>Organic Sulfur</b> in a fairly high dose twice a day.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>High Blood Pressure</b>: All study members, who
participated over the long term, report high blood pressure returning to
normal, the breakdown of calcium plaque in the arteries, and on their
own decision, eventually going off all related medication. <b>Cholesterol</b> was noticeably reduced, as was <b>hardening of the arteries</b>.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li><b>Sexual Response</b>: Those female members of the study
who chose to discuss this report an increase in vaginal lubrication
during arousal. Male participants report stronger and more stable
erections.</li>
</ul>
<b>Other Benefits</b>: <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study </b>members
have variously reported going off anti-depressant medications,
canceling surgical procedures, general pain reduction, more energy,
clearer thinking, increased sense of well-being, <b>dramatically improved skin tone, skin texture, and color</b>, the <b>reduction of skin wrinkles in the face</b>, and the <b>gradual reduction of facial scars from acne</b>.
Many members with grey and white hair report their hair darkening or
returning to natural color, and skin liver spots diminishing. Some of
these reports are from participants who often combine taking <b>Organic Sulfur</b> with EFT/energy work and changing the body’s pH balance with Catalyst Altered Water.<br />
<b><i>Please remember, this is a research study</i></b><i>.
These health improvements are reports from our participants. They may
seem unbelievable, but they have been consistently reported. Rates and
degree of success vary and are dependent upon regular, long-term use of <b>Organic Sulfur </b>according to the guidelines we have established over the years of the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study </b>. </i><br />
<div align="center">
<i><b>Organic Sulfur</b> </i><i>is a food
that the body requires on a daily basis to be healthy. Because of
chemical fertilizers, preservatives, and processing, the food available
today does not provide the quantity of bio-available sulfur our body
needs to be fully healthy. MSM products sold through retail outlets or
other on-line sites have demonstrated less effect, we believe because of
processing and additives. These reported results are with the <b>Organic Sulfur </b>sold through the <b>West Coast Organic Sulfur Study</b>. </i></div>
<div align="center">
If you choose to take this MSM—the <b>Organic Sulfur </b>from this study—it may well be the most important health decision you will ever make.</div>
