Organic sulfur is found in all living organisms and should be a component of raw plant and animal foods. It is
not found in any foods that have been stored during shipping,
refrigerated, or cooked. This is because sulfur bonds with moisture and
is therefore carried away when dehydration occurs. With the
introduction of petro-chemical fertilizers in the 1930′s natural sulfur
was no longer replaced in the soil in which crops were farmed, and with
each crop the soil became more and more depleted.
With the introduction of more petro-chemical fertilizers
in the 1970′s, which were created to replace manure and to produce a
cash crop for the petro-chemical industry, oil based fertilizers
virtually eliminated most of the remaining sulfur in the soil. When, in 1985, Finland became alarmed over the
increasing obscene disease rates of its population, they banned all use
of chemical fertilizers fearing the levels of cadmium, yet they were
totally unaware of the sulfur connection. However, since doing so, they
have seen their disease rates drop to one tenth of their 1985 levels, and have become the leading supplier of organically grown foods in Europe.
Interestingly enough, in 1985 the U.S. was at
the same disease level as Finland, but chose not to follow suit and ban
chemical fertilizers and put a lid on highly processed foods. As the theme song to Donald Trump’s TV show begins, Money, Money, Money!
In the body, organic sulfur is used to repair cells that have been damaged as well as to promote the growth of healthy new cells by boosting the transport of oxygen. Sulfur makes cell walls more permeable, allowing more nutrients in and allowing waste materials to pass out.
Organic sulfur has a cleansing or detoxifying effect on the cells. It allows the body to remove toxins that have accumulated in all types of cells, including fat cells. Every day the body uses up to 750mg of organic sulfur naturally. Organic sulfur is found in the water we drink, and ideally in fruits, vegetables,
meat and dairy products. But because of soil depletion, unless you
mostly consume organic raw foods, you are likely not receiving
enough sulfur to realize its tremendous health benefits.
What are the other benefits of organic sulfur?
Organic sulfur increases enzyme production with in, substantially increasing overall resistance to illness. Viruses cannot exist in an oxygenated
environment. Taking organic sulfur means that you are less likely to get
the flu or have a reaction to a flu shot, should you choose to get one.
Organic sulfur increases flexibility in the tissues within the body and increases blood circulation.
It reduces muscle inflammation, promotes healing in muscles and helps prevent muscle soreness. To the degree there is soreness, recovery and return to normality is quickened. Athletes, in particular, benefit from this as the intake of organic sulfur dramatically increases their recovery time.
Organic sulfur acts as an antioxidant in the body. Allergies to pollens and certain foods can be reduced or eliminated by its use. It promotes healthy, increased growth of hair and fingernails.
Organic sulfur has been studied for its anti-cancer effects. Because of its ability to boost oxygen levels in cells and tissues which creates an aerobic environment, cancer cells die. Studies of organic sulfur have shown the reversal of osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Organic sulfur aids in healthy skin production
and the reduction of wrinkles. It is one of the main ingredients in good
quality moisturizing creams. It helps the body properly regulate insulin production. Adequate organic sulfur in the diet can reduce the need for insulin injections. Organic sulfur helps in reducing and often eliminates diverticulitis. Parasites
living in the colon are unable to remain attached to the colon walls on
which organic sulfur forms a smooth, resistant coating. Hatching worms,
having nothing to grab on to, are flushed out.
Organic sulfur helps alleviate emphysema and provides material to manufacture new, healthy cells on lung walls. Because of its ability to make cell walls more permeable, organic sulfur causes the body to rapidly release alcohol hangover
toxins, removing them as waste from the body. The process happens far
more rapidly than it takes to recover from a hangover, often in as
quickly as 20 minutes.
Organic sulfur helps alleviate chronic headaches by increasing circulation in the brain. It lessens pressure and pain. Hypoglycemia
is reduced by organic sulfur because it makes it easier for the body to
introduce blood sugar through more permeable cell walls. Less insulin
is demanded for the process, resulting in less overuse of the pancreas.
Several months of consistent usage can reduce or eliminate hypoglycemia
entirely. Organic sulfur helps alleviate PMS by
normalizing glandular production. It helps normalize acid, enzyme and
hormonal levels. Cramps, headaches and nausea from the monthly cycle can
be reduced or eliminated through its use. Organic sulfur helps promote better kidney function. Water retention problems due to bad kidney function can be alleviated.
Organic sulfur (methylsulfonymethane) is
commonly marketed as MSM. It is available from many health retailers in
powdered form, but is more highly effective when used in its crystal
form.
